a unique bonding experience

Story Time

For a while it has been our desire to book more couples boudoir experiences. There’s something so special about capturing such intimate moments and memorializing the connection two people share. I’ve worked hard to foster an environment that is warm, comfortable and inviting to allow that to come through with every photoshoot we do.

For Valentine’s Day we held a giveaway for a couple’s photoshoot and boy, it was an experience. They walked in, nervous but excited, not knowing exactly what to expect. Well, that’s not entirely true, she knew, he didn’t. He hung out while she got her hair and makeup done. Careful to not pay to close attention, but then when the entire look was completed, the tone shifted. There was a huge smile on both of their faces as we were all blown away, and he told her how amazing she looked, which made her smile even bigger.

After, we went through the outfit options they brought and selected the pieces we wanted to focus on. Then it was time to get changed, and the nerves set in again! He puts on his jeans and new t-shirt they just bought, boxers a bit tight but the last minute shopping worked out in the end thankfully.

Time to shoot! I demonstrated some standing poses and scenarios, explaining what the sequence would be and how both of them should move. Also making assurances that I would be moving around them, to focus on the moment and each other. Each image capturing the trust, comfort and connection between them. The first couple’s photoshoot I had in the new space, and we made the absolute most out of it. Progressively getting spicier, being present in the moment and aware of the vibe, we ended up with amazing photos. While shooting on the chaise lounge, I showed them a sneak peak of a particular moment when she was looking like an absolute bombshell, and she says “oh wow who is that?” He looks at her and says “see, I’ve been trying to tell you,” they embrace in a beautiful and genuine way, and I was able to capture that too. The little unexpected moments of intimacy is what made the entire photoshoot experience unique and special. Even better yet, when he started asking about the product we offer, knowing they were both excited after seeing the sneak peaks and how they were both feeling in the moment.

After they left, and I started going through the photos, a story emerged. That of a young couple, enjoying every bit of each other and their bond. When we did the reveal viewing and they saw all 60 photos, it was wonderful seeing their reactions and what they loved about each photo. At the end of the day they were able to narrow down that 60 to 30, and they chose to memorialize the experience with an album. Carefully choosing the cover photo to be something a little less spicy.

Unfortunately these photos will not be shared as they chose to keep them private, and of course we respect and support that. So, all this to say, if you’ve been curious, please reach out for more information on our couples photoshoot experience.
