What speaks to you?
Sometimes when people begin researching or pursuing a Boudoir Experience, some people have an idea of what they are looking for, and some simply don't know what to take into consideration. When submit an inquiry with Speak To Me Photography, this is one of the first questions we ask you as part of your questionnaire, and actively walk you through the process of putting together an individualized experience that celebrates everything that makes you beautiful and uniquely you.
Is there anything we are celebrating?
Is there a specific reason or theme for this photoshoot? Maybe you are celebrating a Birthday, a Bride-To-Be, or just because. We can create a beautifully dynamic and thematic shoot to bring your vision to a reality. This is an opportunity to celebrate you in every possible way.
What is your style?
Something to take into consideration is what is your daily style? Do you typically where a lot of color? Maybe prints are your jam? Or all black everything? Depending upon your package, we will parse out ways to integrate the different sides of your personality as much as possible. Whether it is integrating a robe or different props, we want to reflect as much of your personal style and personality in your photoshoot as possible.
What if you're not sure?
Following our consultation and completion of your questionnaire we can recommend some different resources for further clarifying the specific look and feel of your photoshoot. Googling and researching different things, and from here we go back and forth until we have a clear vision. This includes lingerie, props, setting and even poses. In our preparation guide, you will find some resources as well for lingerie companies at all price ranges. This is in an attempt to ease your mind as much as possible, we know it can be stressful.
Every Monday, Speak To Me Photography posts "Speak To Me Monday." Each week I post a specific look/vibe that speaks to me. Drawing inspiration from what is around me, and maybe find something that speaks to you. Utilizing surroundings, inspiration from social media, and things that may interest you. In our link tree, you will find some Amazon lists* that we have curated. One is "Boudoir Looks," which is a list of lingerie that either the team, or our clients have purchased or did a photoshoot and would recommend to you.
